This Tuesday, Southwest Airlines, which arrived at Akron-Canton Airport in 2014 with much fanfare, starts its new schedule, eliminating three nonstop destinations. The only Southwest destination remaining from Akron-Canton will be to Atlanta, although the discount airline is adding a flight for a total of three daily flights. Southwest officials say travelers will then have access to 125 daily flights to 40 cities from Atlanta with a morning, midday and evening flight.
